At least 4 times a year, Goldtimers has hosted a Quarterly Meeting. Goldtimers meetings have been on a variety of topics including popular financial events that discuss taxes/investments, human interest presentations, local businesses and, of course, updates from our former employer.

In-person events are held at The ISU Alumni Center in Normal. Some events, with approval from the speakers, are broadcast live and/or recorded for later viewing online. Each event announcement will outline which viewing options are available and how to signup, register or link to the available options.

If you have a topic of interest or a speaker that you would like to recommend, the Goldtimers committee would appreciate hearing from you!

“2025/26 Economic and Market Update”

On Thursday, November 13th, Derek Sasveld, CFA, Senior Vice President, Director of Investment Research and Strategy - Busey Bank, will present an Economic and Market Update. He will discuss the current economic situation, future outlook, and address opportunities in the financial markets. This will include how AI (artificial intelligence) impacts the markets.

This will be an IN-PERSON event, viewing available remotely through LIVESTREAM and RECORDED for later viewing.
